NEW SUMMER MENU AT ROCHFORD WINES - YARRA VALLEY


Summer has officially arrived in the Yarra Valley and Rochford Wines- Yarra Valley has just released its new summer menu with an extensive selection of dishes showcasing local ingredients and innovative culinary influences, sure to tantalise the tastebuds. Rochford Wines’ team of chefs lead by Raki Andriana have worked closely with Rochford’s wine experts to put together a fresh and innovative Summer Menu using only the highest quality and locally sourced produce. It’s time to celebrate the warm season at Rochford with spectacular views, award-winning wines and delicious food in several dining options catered just for you. With a French-style approach and Middle Eastern influences Rochford’s latest Summer Menu takes diners on a culinary journey.

For an indulgent dining experience, treat your tastebuds to the A La Carte menu with tapa's options like Organic Toolunka Creek olives, Jalapeno & smoked cheddar croquettes, House made dips with house made bread, Gian Carlo Tanara Prosciutto Di Parma, Nduja, Fennel & garlic salami, House smoked New York style pastrami with pickles, Terrine, rhubarb jam served with house made bread, Smoked ox tongue, pickled pear & buttermilk crème fraiche or a House charcuterie selection.


There is an extensive array of exotic entrees such as Rare seared beef fillet, radicchio, orange, charred onion & buttermilk dressing, Crumbed zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta & lemon, green summer gazpachio & radish cres, there is Citrus cured snapper, cucumber, lime, crème fraiche & toasted poppy seeds, Wild fig and haloumi wrapped in filo pastry, black garlic, quinoa & chive oil, and Albondigas - Spanish style meatballs with clams & chorizo in a spiced tomato sauce.


Experience chef Raki's French influence with mains including Lightly smoked salmon, fennel crust, shaved fennel, broad beans, fetta, sauce vierge & causa croquette, Heirloom beetroot tart, goats cheese, summer radish salad & pickled walnut vinaigrette, there is 6+ wagyu striploin, shaved asparagus salad, truffled rosti & anchovy butter, Caraway & sage crumbed pork cutlet, apple, celeriac, remoulade & cherry mustard and Za'atar marinated chicken Maryland, roasted squash, cracked wheat, toasted seeds, scotched egg & saffron labne.


For a more intimate experience, diners can indulge in meals designed for two; Slow roasted oyster blade beef with green tomato, summer beans & chimichurri and Roasted rare breed pork hock, barbecued corn & black bean salad, harrisa oil & charred pineapple a la greque.


To finish the meal a range of desserts are available to choose from including White chocolate parfait with variations of passionfruit, Strawberry and mascarpone tart, marshmallow & gel, Blood orange semifreddo, pistachio cream & Campari, and a selection of cheese, fig & walnut salami, muscatels & lavosh - these delights will sure have everyone truly satisfied. There is also a selection of sides and a range of new pizzas if you are feeling a little more traditional.
