NEW GUIDED CYCLING TOURS ON THE GOULBURN RIVER HIGH COUNTRY RAIL TRAIL

Visitors to the Goulburn River Valley can now take a guided cycling tour of the recently opened Goulburn River High Country Rail Trail - the longest rail trail in Victoria - with cycling tour specialists All Trails.

Running from Tallarook just south of Seymour, to Mansfield in the High Country, the trail traverses 125km through farmland, along the Goulburn River and in the foothills of the magnificent Victorian High Country, and is used by cyclists, walkers and horse riders.

All Trails Bicycle Tours have seized the opportunity to provide guided tours of this fantastic new trail, with magnificent scenery along the way, plenty of stops to enjoy the townships of the Goulburn River Valley, and all the support you need for the adventure.

"When we saw the Goulburn River High Country Rail Trail open up we could not wait to get out there and test it out - it was so good that we decided to design a tour around it," said All Trails Active Director Phil McDonald.

"The Goulburn River High Country Rail Trail is a very different ride for All Trails compared to our usual long distance road bike tours so we are really looking forward to enjoying the change of pace and scenery that this ride will provide."

All Trails have three three-day cycling tours scheduled for departure from Tallarook on Saturday February 2, 2013 and Saturday March 9, 2013 and Saturday April 13, 2013.

The tours include two night's accommodation, most meals, mechanical assistance if required, and a bus trip from Tallarook to Mansfield to start the return ride.

Bike hire is available for an additional cost.
