As the 2017 harvest comes to a close and the leaves change colour Rochford Wines explodes in all of its Autumnal splendour and is celebrating the vibrancy of Autumn in the Valley with the launch of its new Autumn Menu at Rochford Restaurant. Head Chef Raki Andriana brings a wealth of new seasonal dishes to the table with this menu, reflecting his unique cooking style inspired by modern Middle Eastern flavours with French influences and of course using the freshest locally sourced Yarra Valley produce.

Guests will start with exotic entrees such as House smoked trout, crisp bread, horseradish crème, toasted seeds young kale & chardonnay vinaigrette, Slow roasted breast of lamb stuffed with anchovies & chilli, with Jerusalem artichoke & puffed rice, Double baked cheddar& cauliflower soufflé, walnut bread & quince, Chicken liver parfait, pickled grapes, onion marmalade & macadamia granola, and Roasted eggplant stuffed with ratatouille, pine nuts, raisins & valbreso.

Followed by mouth-watering mains - Lightly smoked fillet of salmon, skull island prawn, beets, chard, baby lentils ricotta & capers, Slow roasted mushroom, gruyere & truffle tart, caramelised onion & tarragon, 6+ marble scored premium stanbroke wagyu sirloin served with truffled rosti & a shaved asparagus salad, Slow cooked quail stuffed with fresh figs and pancetta, carrot salad, roasted chickpeas, green olives, millet & tahini and Rare breed pork tenderloin, pressed belly, hazelnut, parsnip, farro & apple - all matched with the perfect wine from Rochford Wine's range and handpicked by the winery's senior sommeliers.

For a more intimate experience, diners can indulge in meals designed for two including; Roasted shoulder of beef, cauliflower, quinoa, smoked almond & watercress vinaigrette or Whole roasted spiced chicken, frisée salad, mac & cheese.

And for dessert, on offer are incredible creations such as Lemon & polenta cake, almond crème, curd & mascarpone, Vanilla yoghurt parfait, blackberry & lavender, Coconut tapioca, passionfruit, caramelised white chocolate marshmallow, and a Selection of cheese, fig & walnut roulade, muscatels & lavosh.
