FIVE-COURSE MENU AT BLUE WREN THIS EASTER


If you find yourself in the Central West region of NSW these Easter holidays - a visit to Blue Wren Tasting Room and new-look restaurant in Mudgee is a must, as the Chef's Kitchen will be showcasing unforgettable dining experience. Over the long weekend from Friday, April 14 till Sunday, April 16 guests can enjoy an indulgent lunch or din-ner from the newly released Autumn five-course tasting menu, from $98 per person, with matching wines from the Blue Wren range at $35 per person.

Boasting the only Chef's Table in the burgeoning Central West NSW wine region, Blue Wren's tasting menu is a unique cornucopia of flavours that challenges the taste buds of the most discerning and adventurous diner.


Guests will enjoy the stunning views of the vineyard as it explodes in all of its autumnal splendour and in-dulge in dishes such as; Chateaubriand fillet, cacao, gold & silver black pudding, spinach sponge, corn puree, honeyed garlic, marmite foam and horseradish snow.


"This dish is certainly a non-traditional mix of flavours - but is one of our most popular dishes that receive a great reaction from our guests - and we have kept it on the autumn menu", says Kip Harris Executive Chef and Owner at Blue Wren.


Other unique items on the tasting menu include dishes such as: Crispy skin salmon, Himalayan salt rock seared scallop, smoked potato purée, corn dust and lumpfish roe and the Duck breast, duck liver ice cream brûlée, pickled cauliflower, radish, raspberries and croutons


Guests can make it a truly memorable weekend and stay overnight at The Farmhouse @ Blue Wren, with special Autumn Accommodation Packages.


Guests will be offered luxurious and contemporary style accommodation in either a one room suite for a reduced rate of $280.00 per night, including a complimentary Wine Flight in the Tasting Room. Or stay in the two room studios for a reduced rate of $300.00 per night, also including a complimentary Wine Flight in the Tasting Room.


Blue Wren is situated on 65 acres and is a short drive from the township of Mudgee. It boasts a tasting room, stunning vineyard and new homestead for accommodation - The Farmhouse @ Blue Wren.
"It's been amazing to watch Blue Wren evolve over the past 12 months and continue to see it improve and grow and to see our dining guests reaction to the ever changing menu", says Harris.


"The intimacy of our restaurant is reflected in the fact that the seating is limited to only 16 people. My guests can dine either at an intimate table, or I love arranging for an exclusive place at the Chef's Table - where I wholeheartedly encourage my guests to discuss every part of their culinary journey with me", says Harris.


Meals are matched to Blue Wren wines made by local expert winemaker, and result in quality wines across the Blue Wren range. This boutique label is unique as they are exclusively available to purchase onsite at the Tasting Room from only $25 per bottle and include such varietals as Rose, Merlot, Verdelho White Port and the newly created Verscato.
