A NEW DELICATE SPRING MENU AT ROCHFORD WINES


As the valleys grow green and blossom begins to bloom the Yarra Valley shines in all of its Spring splendour - Rochford Wines- Yarra Valley celebrates this seasonal change with the launch of Raki Andriana’s new Spring Menu at Rochford Restaurant. Rochford Wines’ team of chefs lead by Raki Andriana have worked closely with Rochford’s wine experts to put together a fresh and delicate Spring Menu using only the highest quality and locally sourced produce – sure to tantalise everyone’s taste-buds. “I am really happy with the direction of this new Spring Menu as I feel as though it’s a true reflection of Rochford’s new style and fresh approach to food and wine,” said Head Chef Raki Andriana.

With a French-style approach and Middle Eastern influences their latest Spring Menu takes diners on a culinary journey - with exotic entrees such as Baked mozzarella wrapped in vine leaves, roasted grapes and lemon; Charred Skull Island prawns with avocado, citrus salad vanilla butter and toasted sesame or Cider braised pork belly, buttermilk cornbread, apricot mostarda and onion rings.

Treat your tastebuds to the A La Carte menu with indulgent mains like Confit duck leg, goats cheese pithivier, rhubarb, hazelnut and pickled mustard seeds, there's Braised lamb shank, pearled cous cous, peas and mint pistou and Slow cooked fillet of swordfish and clams with saffron potato and tomato nage.

For a more intimate experience, diners can indulge in meals designed for two; Slow roasted pork shoulder with baby potato and confit duck leg and Whole baby barramundi, chermoula, shaved fennel and grilled lime.

To finish the meal a range of desserts are available to choose from including Chocolate and peanut butter cream mille feuille; a White chocolate mousse with cumquats and butter biscuit and the Vanilla and raspberry vacherin frozen lemon curd and meringue - these delights will sure have everyone truly satisfied.

With this incredible array, each meal on the menu is paired with a recommended wine from Rochford's in-house sommelier inviting diners to taste Rochford's first-class wines for an unforgettable dining experience.
